Don't Overthink It. Stay Athletic.

Updated: Mar 14, 2023

With so much out there in the fitness industry, it can be easy to start feeling lost on what you should or should not do when it comes to working out. Should I run more? Should I lift more? Should I do athletic movements like a box jump more? The list goes on! Because there is so much out there, we want to help simplify it for you. Here is our advice: stay well-rounded in regards to strength, endurance, and athleticism, but steer more towards one or the other depending on your goals!

For instance, if you are a runner, I recommend running the most! I mean it only makes sense right? And then add in your strength training, and athleticism to supplement and make you a better all-around athlete. If you want to get stronger, I would recommend lifting more, and then supplement that with some cardio to keep you a well-rounded athlete. And lastly, if you play a sport, let's say soccer, and you want to get better at soccer, I would recommend playing SOCCER the most and then supplement that with strength training, endurance training, and athletic movements that will help you get better at your sport.

Now some of you may be asking, what if I don't have any particular goals, but just want to stay fit and healthy? In this case, hit them all! And hit them all consistently...or as we like to say, build strength, crush endurance, and stay athletic.

Staying well-rounded and consistent will help get you that lean mean and athletic build that you are looking for no matter what your goals are with your fitness journey.

We hope this helps ease your mind on all the that is out there in regards to fitness, but if you have any questions, feel free to shoot us an email and we can help talk you through it!

Stay Fit,

Neil Shaffer
